Transformers Kingdom Warpath review

Warpath is a Transformer that you'd probably know about just from his gimmick: he's an Autobot tank that has verbal tics. He's basically the Tourettes Guy. OH, BOB SAGET! He's more like the Turret's Guy. Beyond that, he has no significant character attributes like most G1 characters. Now calm down, calm down, don't get a BIG DICK. If it's fine to say that about characters outside of G1, then there's no excuse to not say that about the G1 characters themselves. We don't even know if he'd kill himself is his last name was COOOOMBS! I also found out that this guy was made 10 years after the Generations Deluxe version. You're 93 years old and don't know who Alf is?! Anyways, let's get back to the review.

OH SHIT! Here we have Warpath in his tank mode. This guy is a tiny recreation of his G1 self but with all of the sculpting you'd expect from the WFC line. The thing that amuses me is that the treads and wheels are white, to contrast with the burgundy of the rest of the toy. It makes it look like a velvet cake of sorts. The white treads are especially in the style of the white frosting I'd expect from that cake. There's not much in deco beyond the Autobot insignia, even if Warpath would look cool with some battle damage. How about instead of battle damage he wears a Mickey Mouse T-shirt tit dirt?

The tank tread wheels roll decently, but the thing that makes him a traditional tank toy is his turret rotating, and unlike most tank bots, his barrel can hinge up and down, and he can do this to any Decepticon while saying "WHY DON'T YOU JUST FUCK OFF?!"

Transformation is quite interesting, as he goes from sitting at his home with his ass up his ass into a pissed off, long-legged Puerto Rican! I can't really tell if it's exactly like how the older Generations toy transformed but what I do like are how the legs transform and how the back of the tank turns into the back of the robot's torso. The tank treads being under the forearms is weird but it works. We'll get to the partsforming in a bit. As for the robot mode, it's only none other than RONALD MCGODDAMN DONALD. This guy is a lot more cartoon accurate than prior versions of the character, which isn't a bad thing for this guy since we don't get as many Warpaths and his quality is solid. In terms of proportions he works quite well in that department but though he has a bit of a backpack that extends to his butt. Damn, bitch! You got a STUPID FAT ASS!

Head sculpt is what I expect it to look for Warpath, who stays at home and plays with his tits and looks at his ass at the same time. I appreciate that his eyes and face are different colors from the rest of his head, but that's pretty much it. His articulation is the same as with every WFC figure, though the ankles are kinda hard to pose because they might catch on a tab. Also, why are the inner parts of his feet and forearms left white? He looks like he's wearing birdshit!

The part from the tank mode that is supposed to be removed is able to be reused as a shield, which can also cover his hand. If you don't want it on him, it can be on his back and it doesn't look too bad.

For a size comparison with his Autobot counterparts, here he is with fellow Minobot Bumblebee and Autobot Car Prowl. These two look good together even if they're not always seen next to each other. I also have some appreciation for the fact that Prowl is not entirely towering over Warpath, since the only Warpath would be a tank that small is if he was to be a toy tank that'd be in scale with the Beetle. Oh, and before I leave the review without another reference, Warpath is an example of the Transformers brand changing its glasses more than it changes its shirt. While Warpath would wear a different shirt for once in his life, he'll tell us to fuck off! He's a cool toy, he can make confidence your bitch, but he's honestly the one Deluxe I had the least amount of interest in. Not that he's a bad toy, but I'm much happier with the Kingdom line finally giving us some Beast Wars characters that the Generations line needed badly. Still, you should definitely get him.
